Forklift Fuse - A fuse consists of either a wire fuse element or a metal strip in a small cross-section which are attached to circuit conductors. These devices are usually mounted between two electrical terminals and normally the fuse is cased within a non-combustible and non-conducting housing. The fuse is arranged in series capable of carrying all the current passing all through the protected circuit. The resistance of the element generates heat due to the current flow. The construction and the size of the element is empirically determined to be certain that the heat generated for a normal current does not cause the element to reach a high temperature.
